ATTITUDINAL HEALING KICKS OFF A YEAR-LONG CELEBRATION OF LEADERSHIP -
Social Innovators From Around Launching of the 40th Anniversary of Globally Respected Bay Area Non-Profit
Hundreds of the world’s most respected social innovators will gather in the United States to launch a year-long celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Attitudinal Healing International. From September 19-21, 2014 at the historic Presidio in San Francisco, California, the Conference will honor founder Dr. Gerald Jampolsky, who pioneered the role of attitude as a profound influence in healing. The conference will focus on the global adaptations and future of this work that has reached more than 30 countries, and helped countless individuals facing some of life’s greatest challenges.
Oprah Winfrey on Dr. Jerald Jampolsky: “After 25 years and more than 30,000 guests, it was one man's definition of forgiveness that changed my life.”
In 1975 Gerald Jampolsky M.D. introduced a pioneering approach to health and well-being called Attitudinal Healing in Tiburon, California. For four decades, Dr. Jampolsky's widely recognized, award-winning, replicable model has helped children, adults and families from diverse cultures to find inner peace and resilience when facing illness, loss and other life challenges. That all Attitudinal Healing support services continue to be free of charge is further evidence of the Founder’s vision.
The conference will host 30 International Conference Speakers as well as 20+ Pre-Conference Workshops in both half and full-day formats. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available.
Joining Attitudinal Healing International’s co-founders Gerald Jampolsky M.D. and Diane Cirincione Jampolsky Ph.D. will be recognized authors, medical professionals, entrepreneurs and international lecturers including Gary Zukav (author of Seat of the Soul and frequent guest of Oprah), Frederic Luskin Ph.D. (author and founder of Stanford University’s Forgiveness Project), Dean Ornish M.D. (founder of Preventative Medicine Research Institute and Professor of Medicine at UCSF), and Rinaldo Brutoco J.D. (entrepreneur, author, futurist and founder of World Business Academy).
Gary Malkin, Emmy award-winning composer and performer is artistic director for the conference. Carlos Santana and Cindy Blackman Santana are honorary co-chairs of the Saturday evening celebration which includes a reception with music by Mariah Parker’s Indo Latin Jazz Ensemble, award presentations, dinner and a concert by internationally recognized Bay Area musicians, Freddy Clarke and Wobbly World.
