|ADDRESS:||Petition Obama & Donate Supplies to Native Protectors|
For months, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and thousands of allies have been gathering in peaceful resistance to stop the construction of the fracked oil pipeline on their ancestral lands and protect the tribe's water supply. After a federal court declared that construction should go on, the Obama administration stepped in and called for a pause. Now the water protectors at Standing Rock need YOU to speak up and tell President Obama to stop construction PERMANENTLY. Stand with the water protectors at Standing Rock and ask President Obama to stop construction for good by revoking the pipeline permits. (The Website link goes to the petition). Please send supplies in support. (The Fundraiser link goes to the donation form).
The Dakota Access pipeline — projected to carry 500,000 gallons of crude oil a day — would cross under the Missouri River just half a mile upstream from where the Standing Rock tribe gets its drinking water. One spill would mean disaster for everyone downstream.
The resistance at Standing Rock is growing every day — will you add your voice to theirs?
Ask President Obama to STOP the pipeline construction at Standing Rock and protect the Standing Rock Sioux's water and ancestral lands.
In the short term, this pipeline threatens drinking water and Indigenous sacred sites. In the long-term, the fossil fuels it transports will add to the climate-changing carbon in our atmosphere, threatening life everywhere.
Tell President Obama YOU stand with Standing Rock and want the pipeline permits revoked.

P.S. Organizers I spoke with on the ground made it clear that they are in this for the long haul and will not stop until the pipeline is cancelled permanently. I know you'll also be with them in this fight. Tell the President to revoke the pipeline permits today!
As each day passes, I am more and more moved by the courageous actions of Indigenous leaders resisting the Dakota Access Pipeline.
The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, along with thousands of their allies, have created a movement to fight the pipeline that would put their water, land, and air at risk. It’s critical that the water protectors at the Sacred Stone and Red Warrior camps have the support they need to stay for as long as it takes.
That’s why when organizers at the camps reached out for help collecting vital supplies, I knew we could count on activists like you, Debra, to be there.
Sign up to send a supplies donation to the water protectors resisting the Dakota Access Pipeline.
After you sign up, I’ll send you the list of requested donations, and all the information you need to ship them.
Organizers on the ground at the Red Warrior and Sacred Stone camps have said that they are in this fight for the long haul — and will stay throughout the winter. That’s why it’s so critical they receive urgent donations like tents, sleeping bags, and winter gear — as well as other camping, art, and medical supplies.
Will you sign up today to gather and ship supplies for the Red Warrior and Sacred Stone camps fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline?
These items will not only help maintain quality of life at the camps, but also be a welcome contribution to the fight for survival in the face of extreme energy infrastructure. The Dakota Access pipeline is estimated carry 500,000 gallons of crude oil a day across sacred sites and under the Missouri River; which would be disastrous for the Stand Rock Sioux Tribe and ultimately the planet.
Donate supplies today and help the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and allies protect what’s sacred.
